Flower Photos

Brenda has always been the one who photographed flowers - flowers and people. I was more interested in landscapes and designs. We recently stopped by a botanical garden in Grapevine (TX) and discovered some beautiful flowers in bloom. Since the garden was almost completely deserted, I felt free to lie on the ground taking photographs without having passers-by tripping over me. A day or two later Ashley and her boys met us there for lunch and to play on the adjacent playground. Here are a few shots from those two days.

Boston REALLY wanted to pick one of these flower for his mother or grandmother. It was almost more than he could manage to leave it standing there for others to enjoy!

Each of the flower beds were well labeled for those interested in learning more about flower to read. I tended to just look and enjoy their display of colors.

I captured this photo of the wasp in this field of pansies.

I think the tulips were my favorites.
